2218 Hornbeam and Wild Garlic

Description

This piece is inspired by the trees in ancient woodland at Martin Down, Hampshire.  I loved the weird and wonderful shapes of these Hornbeams, and the rich mosses adorning their sides.  At wild garlic time the woods were resplendent with white and green.  Oil on canvas, currently unframed, painted on sides and ready to hang.
